Good morning, Redmond.
By when do you think we get proper documentation?
Could you please give SCOM a bit more love? We understand that in US you hardly focus on the cloud, but the rest of the world is still running majority on prem.

OpenShift, Docker, you name it.
Uuuhm, no… will not provide company (nor private) address in a forum but generally it would be great to have PM and/or direct comment options in uservoice. ;-)
YES, the new feature is great in theory but not practical.
It should be possible to disable it and it would be great to finally reset a monitor on alert closure.
I don't say this should go, it should be improved.
@MSFT: read the comments after "fixing" this: https://systemcenterom.uservoice.com/forums/293064-general-operations-manager-feedback/suggestions/9356712-a-way-to-reset-monitors-automatically-when-alert-i

Fully agree with the others.
SCOM is not supporting floating IPs (=changing MAC address).
When can we see an update here?
Or at least a comment from MSFT?
I am the supporting consultant of Jan and in the meantime we found out that some of the devices (probably all, not checked) share the same MAC address and since the MAC is the DeviceKey property (= unique identifier) it is clear what happens... every time the discovery runs it updates the device with the properties of the one or the other device with the same MAC.
@MSFT: is there a chance to change the standard behavior (change devicekey to IP or whatever could make sense here)?
I know, but that would be great.
read: It would be great to being able to create a new MP (solution) based on an existing one in Visual Studio. Very often MPs are similar (Network devices, for e.g.).
missed the closing bracket after "solution".

This is important if the networks are separated by a firewall and ping is not possible from the network where the MS remain.
