Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 support (RHEL 8)
Any idea when is RHEL 8 going to be supported? My customers are already deploying servers in RHEL8 and we cannot provide monitoring for them.

So the comments say that it is not included in UR9 for SCOM2016, yet this has been marked as completed. Is this available for 2016 or not? If not, when will it be? Is there anywhere where we can download the RHEL 8 scx package?

It's not official for 2016 or 2012R2, but can you try using the linux mp from 2019 to install rhel and discover it using 2012 r2? https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/system-center/scom/plan-supported-crossplat-os?view=sc-om-2019

Frustrated that SCOM 2016 UR9 didn't add RHEL 8 support I have crafted my own management pack to support it. It obviously comes with no support from Microsoft but happy to share with anyone that wants it.

Lack of this is delaying deployment... so where is the love really ?? 9 months and still not supported ?? At this rate, we may have to look into another form of monitoring if this is the pace it's going to be from now on.

Will it be supported for SCOM 2016 as well as 2019?
