Modification to the licensing structure of SCOM / System Center
1. Currently you need to license the full System Center Suite. DP, OO, SM, VMM, ... - some of those solutions do not get many updated, or are not used at our customer. Suggestion is to offer SCOM ML only - either as a Subscription or ML.
2. Reconsider licensing for non-Windows OSEs. Linux agents are available on GitHub and open source. The cost comes into play when they are added to SCOM. "To license the OSEs under management, all physical cores must be licensed in the server being managed."
AND: "Minimum of 16 core licenses required for each server"
So for just adding a RHEL Webserver, the price is prohibitive.
