WebConsole missing form authentication Integrated with AD
) In SCOM2012 R2, it was possible to login to the SCOM web console with a different user via a form based authenticated through AD.
If a user would try to connect with a non permitted user to the console, a form would load up within the webconsole and would ask for Username/Password. It would then be possible to use another account with the rights permissions to access the console.
This feature is now gone in SCOM2016 and doesn't seem to be any work around in the current context.
In a company where users have 2 different account (1 for day-to-day workstation user and 1 for elevated permissions on various systems, it make the web console basically useless.
This capability has been added in SOCM 1801.
