Guide Management Pack Team Foundation Server 2015 deployment induces errors
In the deployment Management Pack Team Foundation Server 2015 in System Center Operations R2 2012 - UR8 found some instructions that may induce the customer to a configuration wrong.
• Configure run as account in the profile TFS Server as "All targeted objects", even adding in the run as account just the TFS Server. Will cause incorrect configuration alerts in the profile of the TFS Server. It is wise to create a group and add the computers or components that are part of the TFS Server, apply the setting "all targeted object", will produce dozens of alerts on the console of SCOM.
• It's no use just configure More secure, has more instructions to supplement the documentation.
o NOTE: There should be a note of caution, in this document the Management Pack “Guide for Visual Studio Team Foundation Server 2015 Management Pack for System Center ”.
• It is not enough to just create a “run as account” and add the group " [Team Foundation] \Team Foundation Administrators " is to configure the access privileges necessary for the action account of SCOM has permission on the TFS Application Tier, or this error will occur.
o Error Exception: Microsoft.TeamFoundation.TeamFoundationServerUnauthorizedException: TF30063: You are not authorized to access
http://tfs.lab.com.br:8080/tfs/testeweb. ---> System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: (401) Unauthorized
• After this setting the action account the SCOM can authenticate with the TFS Server, access code 200[OK]. The error disappears from SCOM console.
I wonder if there is any suggestion of setting the run as account (monitoring TFS Server) and that the document was updated so that our customers don't have problems in the configuration of this Management Pack Team Foundation Server 2015.
