Maintenance mode available on any level of the health service tree
At the moment you cannot set the maitenance in the health tree. You need to the diagram view and find the correct part of the tree which can be set.

powershell
When setting up a rule, monitor or anything in the management console there should be a "View Script" of what is being done similar to the view script that System Center Virtual Machine Manager has.

cmdlet to delete managed agents
When are we going to get a cmdlet to delete an agent managed computer? Working in a large environment with more than 8000 agents, it can be difficult when I have to delete a group of agents using the Operations Console

auto-balance agents over all selected management servers
When using multiple management servers, it would be usefull if there was an option to auto-balance the agents over all selected management servers equally.

SCOM Infrastructure performance troubleshooting
Please provide ETW providers that would make it easier for admins to understand why a monitoring service on a management server consumes more resources than others. It would be very helpful if there was a way to see which workflows are being executed, linking workflow details (like Object ID, Rule ID, etc.) with the Process ID and Thread ID that run that on a particular server. This information would be very helpful in chasing resource hungry workflows.

Private key instead of Certificates for Gateway Authentication
Some customers don't want to go through the complexity of setting up certificate based authentication for gateways and can simply do with a private key for authentication. Similar to how stand alone MMA agents authenticate with OMS services. Would you stop using certificates and use a private key based authentication if this feature was made available to you?

Abilty to use HTML Templates with default SMTP Notification Channel
Currently forced to use external command channels for creating HTML templates for notifications, which can lead to issues with the crossing the asynchronous process limit in the case of an event storm.

Maintenance Mode with levels
Add diffrent Level of MaintenanceMode, Some time you wan't to set a server or application, into maintenance "Hard", Today, when you have setup a Mantenance for exampel over the weekend, and if something/one other person is activate a new maintenance for a group that the servers belong, the last set or maintenance time is set.
And the servers/app that should be in maintenancemode for the weekend, is in maintenance for less time.
So if possible add Maintenance level like SOFT | HARD . where SOFT is possible to override, but not HARD state.5 votes -
Add the ability to update an alert's "Owner" field to a security group in AD, and not just an AD user
Currently, you can only update an alert "Owner" field to a user in AD, and not security groups. It would be great if we could leverage AD to assign tickets to such groups, rather than being forced to use the ResolutionState field to achieve the same functionality.

Update MP references when last override to referenced MP is deleted
When an override MP is used, the references do not get updated after the last override to a certain reference has been deleted. This prevents the referenced MP from being deleted. To be able to remove the referenced MP you'll have to manually export/edit the override MP XML, import it back in, and then delete the referenced MP.

Export Complete configuration of a Management pack
Complete configuration of a standard or customized management pack components should be available in the file while exporting a management. For most of the rules/monitors time the complete configuration is missing in the exported management pack file i.e. monitoring frequency, number of samples, threshold value, applied to etc. are missing in the file. While it required when migrating the environment and have to enable the same monitoring in the new environment.

Moving views from My WorkSpace to the Monitoring Tree
Creating test views in My workspace is much fast to PoC and see how it behaves, and it doesn’t slow down the server. When done, you could right click and move it to the main View Tree for final deployment.

Improved "Change Scope" functionality
leave the "Clear All" button accessible at all times in the "Scope Management Pack Objects" dialog box.
I (and my clients) constantly find myself checking a bogus class in the "Scope Management Pack Objects" dialog box, just to be able to access the "Clear All" button, and proceed with my new class filtering selections.

A simple view, just to see the last 10 times a machine was put in maintenance mode, for how long (start- and endtime, or starttime and duration), and by who.

Web Application Transaction Monitoring record actions not working on IE 10
As I understand this the Record action only works with an early version of IE. If you are running Server 2012, and IE 10, the Record dialog box won't appear.

Management Pack differential reporting.
Many companies have change management policies that require that new monitoring rules or changes in updated MP's are documented and vetted. There should be a native way within SCOM to do a differential report to show all of the rules and monitors that have changed between versions of an MP.
